I am now on Day #4 of my 31-Day TV & Movies Fast. There have definitely moments where I want to just veg out and put on something. Even just for noise while I cook or clean. Which are all reasons why I just want to be quiet and cut out the distractions. I have just gotten around to reading books this morning. And after a quick chat with my Dad this morning I thought that it might be good to put my reading list out there so that I feel some sort of accountability to get it done. So here is my reading list for this month...

#1 The Sacred Romance by John Eldridge and Brent Curtis

#2 The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

#3 The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

#4 Searching for God Knows What by Don Miller

Any other suggestions?

Boooyah! Cost of Disc. is one of my all time favs. Im stoked for you. Ps. Your blog inspired me to write something...its long (2000wds) but, I think, bloggable.

Take care friend.

I read the first three and loved them. The Cost of Discipleship took me all summer to soak up last year. Read anything by AW Tozer. I can lend you one of his if you want.

I read part of cost, it was hard for me to get through, and it was for a class which makes it less enjoyable, but I did like the Irresistible Revolution by shane claiborn (I think thats how you spell it) and this one is controversionally depressing but I really liked The Road, it was tough and lonely but I really liked it! love you!

Hi girl! Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer is one of my favorites. And missionary autobiographies are fun too!
