These are the days of our lives...

These are some of the sights and sounds of my last month...
it's been snowing like crazy and when it's not snowing, it's just sticking around. Growing up in Portland we would marvel in the magic of the fresh snow and the small reprieve from our work at school. Unfortunately, life still moves on for work and school despite the snow.
It's pretty dark by 3:30 (getting better) this is the square in Cesky Tesin when I walk home at night.

View from my front window of the street in front of my apartment.

When I work from home, I love to sit at my dining room table with a nice cup of coffee or tea. I just recently found vanilla soy milk, which is a treat in my tea!

Katka and Kim turned 30 and Leah turned 35! So we had to celebrate..by going to Italy. We found killer deals from Poland to Milan and went for 24 hours!
Going up the escalators to the city...

Our scrumptious FREE Italian dinner that we found. Lots of laughs and getting to know each other better around a table and a glass of wine.

Hotel room? No thank you. We are hardcore international travelers on a budget. This all night adventure would have been great in the summer months, but when it's -5 outside it's not really conducive to frolicking all through the night.

Don't want to say the 'worst' but it was a miserable night at the airport, trying to stay warm and not being able to fall asleep. I have a weak mind, it doesn't settle down in thiese moments, but stays awake and goes nuts! I was freezing!!!

Vanilla soy milk??!! Minister to my soul. And, the overnight thing--wow, I have new respect.

Oh Lo your night seems miserable, but I have always found that it is the most miserable nights that are the most memorable, and you never quite remember the misery, but the laughs and the fun, being "miserable" together! I love you dear sister and I love seeing your new blogs! MIss you and can't wait to come visit!
